Say "please!" Capturing memories on film (or, well, pixels) is always sweet...but it can be downright spicy too. The third eye of the camera brings a sprinkle of taboo to erotic romps, so let's come in from the heat and make the Bluebird sizzle with our stories of boudoir shoots!
This month, our theme is "Photo Finish". Seduce us with details of your long-distance nudes. Scandalize us with your (authorized) sex tapes! How did your salacious photo session improve your relationship, or your body image? We want to hear all about how you put the "spread" back in "photo spread".
(Not familiar with Smut Slam? It’s a storytelling open mic where audience members sign up for 5-minute slots to tell their best real-life, first-person, consensual sex stories. It’s queer-friendly, kink-friendly, lifestyle-friendly, body-positive, sex-positive, and wildly fun. No costumes, no notes, no gimmicks, just straight-up raw truth! See the full rules and how it works on our Rules of the Road page.)
As always, we have the Fuckbucket where audience members can throw in anonymous confessions or questions to enter the free raffle for a smutty prize courtesy of our sponsor, Satisfyer. All storytellers will get a little swag bag to reward their courage, and we've got some fabulous storytelling prize packs on tap for our top three tellers, too—you could win a sexy little something to keep the party going at home!
Your fabulous femme-cee is longtime Smut Slam Baltimore/DC producer and burlesque performer Diva Darling, joined by a panel of local celebrity judges who think you belong in pictures.
Join us before the show to enjoy light pub fare and sample the decadent cocktail and mocktail menu. Get your copy of Anonymous Sex, the Smut Slam International book edited and signed by Diva.
Tickets: $15 early bird, $20 presale, $25 door
This event has been selling out in presales, so door tickets may or may not be available. However, should they be available, they are $25 payable in cash, PayPal, Venmo, or CashApp. If the show is sold out but you want to take a chance on waiting, the Bluebird has two other bar rooms where you can enjoy food and drinks. We recommend arriving close to 7, asking the door person to take your name for the wait list, and coming back at about 7:50 to see if we've had no-shows or last-minute cancellations and can sell you a ticket. Usually we can, but buying in advance is better-- you can get a refund up to the day before the show if you can't make it.
