FAQs
Are you taking reservations? Yes, reservations can be made for the Cocktail Room and walk-ins are accepted daily. Visit our Reservations page for more information.
Dress code? We like you just the way you are, though if you feel like dressing fancy we won’t object.
Parking? As a cocktail bar, we strongly encourage all our guests to take advantage of ride shares. However, responsible drivers will find street parking (free and metered) on 36th Street and its side streets.
I see you only permit entry to ages 21 and up (including babies) in the Cocktail Room. Could you explain that to me? Happy to! The Bluebird is a cocktail bar intended for adults to enjoy an adult experience. Please understand that, while we know your baby or toddler won’t be imbibing, he or she may behave in a distracting manner to our other guests, despite your best efforts.
My child is 18, can he or she join us for dinner? The Cocktail Room is strictly for guests 21+.
I’m celebrating with a large group. Can we reserve part of the Cocktail Room or Pub? Reservations in the Cocktail Room are available for parties of up to 6 guests. Parties of 7+ guests are welcome on a walk-in basis and are seated first come, first served. We recommend arriving early, especially on weekends.
For groups of 10 or more guests, we may be able to offer a semi-private area, subject to availability. Please email us at events@thebluebirdbaltimore.com for more information.
In order to best serve you, we will not be able to accommodate groups that have made multiple reservations to increase their party's size. Please do not make more than one reservation. If you do not see a certain table size on Resy, it is not available.
Please inquire with our events team if you are interested in reserving a room for a private event.
Do you host private events? Yes! Please visit our events page for more information.
We’re celebrating! Can I bring a cake and decorations? Bring the cake! A $20 plating fee will be added to your bill. Please notify a staff member when you arrive, and we’ll take it from there. We prefer our ambiance as is, and kindly ask you to leave all decorations, like balloons, at home.
