Live Music IN The Pub
Hidden beneath The Bluebird, The Pub is a cozy, intimate basement bar that feels like a secret Parisian jazz club tucked away beneath the streets of Baltimore. Candlelit tables, brick walls, classic cocktails, and live acoustic music create the perfect setting to settle in for an evening of listening.
From Monday through Thursday, we host some of Baltimore's most beloved recurring music nights, featuring everything from Django jazz and traditional Irish music to bluegrass, old-time, and modern jazz.
Some performances are free and open to all ages, while Baltimore Jazz Underground concerts have a $10 cover, with every dollar going directly to support the musicians.
Mondays: Django Jazz Jam
Every Monday | 7:00–11:00 PM
Hosted by Michael Joseph Harris and the acclaimed Hot Club of Baltimore, the Monday Django Jazz Jam has been a Baltimore tradition since 2012. Inspired by the music of Django Reinhardt, the evening celebrates gypsy jazz, French waltzes, traditional jazz, and spontaneous collaboration.
Whether you're an experienced player or simply want to settle in with a cocktail and listen, Monday nights are one of the most beloved traditions in Baltimore's music scene.

Tuesdays: Baltimore Old Time & Bluegrass Jams
Alternating Tuesdays | Doors 6:00 PM
Every Tuesday brings another chance to experience Baltimore's vibrant traditional music community.
Old Time Jam
Led by Ken & Brad Kolodner, the Old Time Jam begins with an easy-going Slow Jam from 7–8 PM, perfect for newer musicians, before picking up the pace for the Fast Jam from 8–10 PM. Before the jam begins, Letitia VanSant hosts an Early Country Sing from 6–7 PM, inviting everyone to join in classic American folk songs.
Bluegrass Jam
On alternating Tuesdays, Alex Lacquement & Friends host the Baltimore Bluegrass Jam from 7–10 PM. Bring a song to lead, join the circle with your instrument, or simply pull up a chair and enjoy an evening of exceptional bluegrass music.
Free admission. Open to all ages.
Wednesdays: Baltimore Jazz Underground
Most Wednesdays | 8:00–11:00 PM
Baltimore Jazz Underground showcases some of the region's finest jazz musicians in an intimate listening room setting. Each week features a different ensemble, from established artists to emerging voices, making every performance unique.
On the last Wednesday of each month, we welcome the Baltimore Irish Music School for an evening of traditional Irish music.

Thursdays: Baltimore Jazz Underground
Every Thursday | 8:00–11:00 PM
Continue the week with another evening of outstanding live jazz. Thursdays feature rotating artists from Baltimore Jazz Underground, bringing together exceptional local and touring musicians in one of the city's coziest rooms for live music. Most Thursdays feature Charlie Ballantine’s Affinity Quartet.
