On Wednesday, April 22, the Green Room at the Bluebird welcomes The Good Folk, presented by the Baltimore Folk Club, for an evening of Irish and American traditional music.
This talented ensemble—Eileen Estes, Meghan Mette, Agi Kovacs, Brendan Hearn, and Patrick Winch—draws from the deep musical connections between Irish and American folk traditions. Their performances weave together instrumental tunes, rich vocal harmonies, and percussive dance, creating an experience that is both lively and deeply rooted in tradition.
With thoughtful phrasing, beautiful ornamentation, and a strong rhythmic pulse, The Good Folk bring familiar session tunes and beloved ballads to life while introducing original compositions that honor traditional forms. Whether you’re a longtime folk enthusiast or simply curious to experience something new, their music offers a warm and welcoming entry into these timeless traditions.
The evening also celebrates the release of their debut album, All Will Be Well, arriving April 3.
