Smut Slam Baltimore: March

  • The Green Room 3600 Hickory Avenue Baltimore, MD, 21211 United States (map)

Play sexy games, win sexy prizes at this inclusive real-life storytelling open mic-- a perfect date night at a swanky cocktail lounge!

Pucker up and kiss our blarney stones, Slamily! As we do our walk of GAME (no shame here!) across the finish line of winter, spring fever's got us all feeling frisky and ready to roll the dice on a new season of sexytimes. Let's meet up to revel in the stories that are the absolute GOLD at the end of the rainbow!

This month, our theme of "Gettin' Lucky" has space for all your steamy shenanigans. Talk to us about the wild night that almost wasn't. Clue us in on whether that shillelagh had more thud or sting. Or did you adopt a puppy boi named Lucky? Your wish come true is our good fortune to hear about. PLUS! It's our second anniversary of Smut Slam Baltimore, so enjoy the tales of birthday spankings or caked-up celebrations.

(Not familiar with Smut Slam? It’s a storytelling open mic where audience members sign up for 5-minute slots to tell their best real-life, first-person, consensual sex stories. It’s queer-friendly, kink-friendly, lifestyle-friendly, body-positive, sex-positive, and wildly fun. No costumes, no notes, no gimmicks, just straight-up raw truth! Don't have a story that's on theme? That's okay-- the theme is just a suggestion!)

As always, we have the Fuckbucket where audience members can throw in anonymous confessions or questions to enter the free raffle for a smutty prize courtesy of our sponsor, Uberlube . All storytellers will get a little swag bag to reward their courage, and we've got some fabulous storytelling prize packs on tap for our top three tellers, too—you could win a sexy little something to keep the party going at home!

Your fabulous femme-cee is longtime Smut Slam Baltimore/DC producer and burlesque performer Diva Darling, joined by a panel of local celebrity judges who want to know if you LIKE like them, please check yes or no.

Join us before the show to enjoy light pub fare and sample the decadent cocktail and mocktail menu. Get your copy of Anonymous Sex, the Smut Slam International book edited and signed by Diva.

This event has been selling out in presales, so door tickets may or may not be available. However, should they be available, they are $25 payable in cash, PayPal, Venmo, or CashApp. If the show is sold out but you want to take a chance on waiting, the Bluebird has two other bar rooms where you can enjoy food and drinks. We recommend arriving close to 7, asking the door person to take your name for the wait list, and coming back at about 7:50 to see if we've had no-shows or last-minute cancellations and can sell you a ticket. Usually we can, but buying in advance is better-- you can get a refund up to the day before the show if you can't make it.

Tickets: $15 early bird, $20 presale, $25 door

(want to give back to your community? Can't make the show, but want to help others attend? Choose the "contribute to gift tickets" option to fund community tickets for those in economic hardship! Gift tickets are made available as they're funded, no questions asked-- please only take one if you actually need it and if not, save them for those who do. We especially encourage federal workers who are on administrative leave or fired to enjoy a gift ticket, so please consider supporting them!)
