Step into 1930s and 1940s Paris for an unforgettable night of Gypsy jazz at The Bluebird as part of the 11th Annual Charm City Django Jazz Fest.
On Saturday, February 28, The Bluebird transforms into a Vintage Paris Swing Party featuring two simultaneous experiences under one roof. In The Green Room, a full live band led by Natalie Hanna Mendoza and Luca Pino brings high-energy swing for dancing all night long. Downstairs in the Whiskey Pub, Le Jazz Hot Quintette presents an intimate listening concert celebrating the early Django Reinhardt sound.
Concert doors open at 7PM. Enjoy the freedom to move between spaces — dance in The Green Room or settle in downstairs for an immersive tribute to Django’s legendary acoustic guitar style.
Earlier that afternoon, The Green Room hosts music and dance workshops, including jazz violin, Django-style guitar, Gypsy jazz techniques, a facilitated jam session, and Balboa dance classes. All Saturday ticket holders receive free admission to the 4PM and 5PM dance classes.
Please note: The dance is 18+ and the Whiskey Pub is 21+. The Bluebird space includes several steps and does not have wheelchair access for Saturday evening events.
Low ticket alert — this event is nearly sold out.
